Dale Slaughter, a professional archeologist,
has had an interest in photography spanning 40 years. He has traveled & photographed
throughout Alaska in both village and remote areas, such as the Aleutian Islands and the Brooks Range. In recent years, he has worked almost exclusively with black & white large format images. The images presented here were scanned from 4x5 inch negatives and printed with an ink-jet printer using
pigment-based inks.
